Sandy Seitz Cain is the Democratic Candidate for the office of Brown County Recorder.
Sandy served Brown County as the County Recorder from 1993 to 2000, and before being Recorder served as Deputy Recorder from 1984 to 1992. During that time, the Recorders office updated to the current computer system. Sandy is currently working as secretary for the Brown County Prosecutor’s Office.
Sandy is the daughter of Sue Seitz. Sandy and her husband Marcus live on Clay Lick Road. Her sister Candy and her family live in Arkansas, and her Brother Jim and his family live in Bloomington. Her stepson Nathaniel is in the United States Marine Corps stationed in San Diego, California, and her step-grandson Marley lives in Valpariso, Indiana.
Having served as your Bropwn County Recorder in the past, Sandy knows how important the Recorder’s Office is to our county. Keeping accurate records, ensuring that each instrument meets the essential requirements for recording, working with you to make sure the job is done right, and looking for ways to improve on protecting our vital records for the future is how Sandy will serve you as Recorder.
