Julie Cauble

Hi, my name is Julie Cauble and I am running for the Democratic nominee for Brown County Commissioner of District #2. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself.

When I was younger I remember coming down to Brown County and playing on the farm of my parents. I liked it so much I moved here in the late seventies, I lived on my parents' property by Fruitdale before I married my husband Doug. We have been married for 25 years we have two sons and one grandson.

I have worked for the Brown County School Corporation since 1982, as the head custodian at the Jr. High School. I am retiring at the end of this school year. Before my current job, I worked for Brown County Builders as a carpenter for several years. I have volunteered at Mothers Cupboard Soup Kitchen and have worked the Soup Bowl Benefit for several years.

I am a member of the Historical Society and enjoy participating in community events. I manage rental property for my family and run our antique business.

I have an open mind and am level headed. I know there are things that need to be modified so our county can thrive.
